BEST OF OCTOBER: Top-10 Best-Selling NIL Stores

It’s officially crossover season! The leaves are falling, the fall postseason stretch is underway, and winter sports are ramping up!

But before we get too excited about the winter, let’s look back at the top-selling schools from the month of October at the NIL Store!

#10 - Louisville NIL Store

Louisville had an incredible month of October thanks to the success of both its outstanding football and volleyball teams. The football program is 8-1 and ranked 11th in the nation, while volleyball is 21-3 and ranked 5th nationally.

#9 - Iowa NIL Store

The Iowa NIL Store launched in late September and got a nice boost that carried it into October. Hawkeyes football continues to find ways to win, basketball season is underway, and did you see the women’s soccer team won the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 8 seed?!

#8 - LSU Tigers NIL Store

The defending National Champion women’s basketball team carried the Tigers NIL Store in the month of October, especially after getting a boost from the opening of Hailey Van Lith’s locker room! HVL’s locker room “Now Live” post reached 353,352 accounts on Instagram - the most of any post in October in the NIL Store network.

#7 - Illinois NIL Store

Merch for a great cause: the Illinois Maui Relief Basketball Jersey. When Illinois announced it would be playing Kansas in an exhibition game to benefit the Maui Strong Relief Fund, we spun up a Maui-inspired jersey and donated a portion of the proceeds. Illinois athletics announced it raised more than $1 million for the fund.

#6 - WKU NIL Store

It was the drop heard round the world. When WKU announced each of its position groups would be wearing a different “Big Red” logo, it went absolutely viral.

The WKU NIL Store was ready, as it dropped a complete “Big Red” collection in conjunction with the drop. Each player from each respective position group will split the commissions evenly in a creative collaboration on NIL with WKU.

#5 - Marquette NIL Store

With the Marquette men’s basketball ranked in the top-5 nationally to open the season, Marquette fans are super excited for the start of the season. So when the NIL Store created Maui-inspired jerseys as a nod to their upcoming visit to the Maui Invitational, Marquette fans ate it up! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Maui Strong Relief Fund.

#4 - The NIL Store (Ohio State)

With more than 500 athletes available to support on The NIL Store, Ohio State fans have shown up in droves to support their Buckeyes. The football jersey has been a top-seller, and apparently there are a ton of Jack Oldman supporters!

#3 - Purdue NIL Store

Death. Taxes. The Purdue NIL Store.

Boilermaker support for their athletes is inevitable at this point - especially for their men’s basketball team which opened the season ranked No. 3 in the country!

Purdue is set to appear in the Maui Invitational, and Purdue fans loved the Maui-inspired jerseys that dropped. Keep a lookout for a second chance to purchase!

#2 - Colorado NIL Store

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Colorado athletics has been having a moment. Most are calling it “The Prime Effect” as a nod to head football coach Deion Sanders and the impact he’s had on the entire university. 

It’s even made its way to basketball, as the women’s basketball team upset defending National Champions, LSU!

When fans are happy and teams are winning, good things always happen.

#1 - Indiana NIL Store

Indiana soared to the top of October’s rankings with a 1-2 punch that was unstoppable.

The legendary “Floating Head” collection returned for the second straight year, featuring posters for the men’s and women’s basketball team. And this time, we included a merch component.

And, of course, Gabe Cupps’ “Breakfast Club” collection was a hit. True to form, Gabe dropped his collection at 4:00 am.
