Cook Promoted to Vice President, Campus Ink Sports

CHICAGO (April 26, 2023) - Campus Ink co-founder and CEO, Steven Farag, has announced the promotion of Adam Cook to Vice President, Campus Ink Sports.

Since joining Campus Ink, Cook has overseen the rapid expansion of the NIL Store, Campus Ink’s transcendent collegiate athlete NIL merchandising program.

“Adam has established a clear and ambitious vision for our NIL program,” Farag said. “Under Adam's guidance, we are committed to providing NIL merchandising opportunities to all college athletes across all sports. Our innovative model is designed to benefit the athlete with industry leading payouts, while disrupting the current status quo in the NIL space. As a former athlete and coach, and currently a professor of sport, Adam has dedicated his professional life to empowering college athletes to achieve their full potential. Over the past year, Campus Ink has earned 45 NIL licenses from Universities and Colleges across the country, while activating merchandising opportunities for thousands of athletes. Additionally, Campus Ink has established partnerships in bookstores and retail partners across the country to make NIL apparel accessible to fans everywhere.

The NIL Store has helped student-athletes make hundreds of thousands of dollars, while activating merchandise for some of the biggest names in collegiate sports including unanimous National Player of the Year Zach Edey (Purdue), Angel Reese (LSU), Trayce Jackson-Davis (Indiana) and Nika Mühl and Paige Bueckers of UConn.

ABOUT ADAM COOK

The son of an Athletic Director, Cook played collegiate volleyball at California Baptist University where he won a National Championship in 2006. After his playing career, he served as an Assistant Coach for both the Men’s and Women’s programs. With a background in Kinesiology, he has taught classes in Exercise Physiology, Legal Considerations for Sport Leaders, and Sport Management. Building on his desire to help athletes bridge the gap to the next chapter he has helped implement international development programs for college athletes to use their skills for philanthropic and diplomatic initiatives, and assisted university career centers in creating resume workshops, networking nights, and professional development tracks designed for college athletes. Since 2018 he has been a faculty member in the Northwestern University Master’s of Sports Administration program where he teaches Application and Theory of Sport Leadership, Globalization of Sport, and serves as a thesis advisor.
