CHICAGO - Adam Cook, Vice President of Campus Ink Sports & The NIL Store, has been named one of the “70 Most Impactful People in the NIL Space” by Silver Waves Media.
Alongside CEO Steven Farag, Cook has overseen the NIL Store’s development into the nation’s leader in NIL apparel over the last three years.
“When we made the decision to dive headfirst into NIL, Adam joined the company to navigate completely uncharted waters,” Farag said. “He has done so with poise and grace while garnering an immense amount of respect from the entire industry. Adam often credits his team around him first and rarely takes credit for his work. He has fostered a culture that has become an unstoppable force. We are all so thrilled for Adam to receive this recognition.”
Since earning more than $100,000 for Illinois men’s basketball players in 2021-22 and obtaining an investment from Mark Cuban, the NIL Store has signed more than 10,000 athletes, developed partnerships with more than 115 universities and paid out nearly $1.5 million to athletes.
The NIL Store has been recognized time after time for its innovation in the NIL apparel space. Those firsts include, but are not limited to:
- Launching exclusive NIL pop-up store experiences at Illinois and Purdue
- Tying athlete earnings to hot market opportunities (ie. final four shirts) through collectives
- Unveiling first-of-kind throwback-style football jerseys that support NIL, in addition to custom fashion basketball jerseys

ABOUT CAMPUS INK AND THE NIL STORE
Backed by Mark Cuban, Campus Ink expanded into the Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) space in 2021 and launched the NIL Store, which serves as a merchandising solution for student-athletes and schools across the country. The NIL Store operates with the firm belief that every student-athlete has an opportunity to capitalize on their NIL and should earn industry-leading payouts. Campus Ink was founded in 1947 on the campus of the University of Illinois and was reimagined in 2015 with an office in downtown Chicago and a production facility in Urbana, Ill., where the company handles all of its own production and fulfillment.
