UConn Players Benefit from National Championship NIL Apparel; Set NIL Store WBB Record
April 7, 2025

CHICAGO (April 7, 2025) - For the first time in their historic 12-championship run, UConn women’s basketball players are finally earning a piece of the profits generated from National Championship apparel thanks to the NCAA's new NIL license.

Additionally, Sunday’s UConn sales set a new single-day record for women’s basketball apparel on the NIL Store.

The players benefit on every sale of championship apparel due to the NIL Store's implementation of the NCAA’s brand-new NIL Event License on National Championship products.

The collection features a variety of artistic incorporations of NIL, including a National Champions team shirt featuring imagery of all the players as well as items that feature individual athletes like Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong.

Also included is a replica NIL jersey with the official National Championship badge, in addition to a shirsey option.

The athletes earn on every sale in the National Champions NIL collection, and split the commission on items that feature every member of the team.

The NIL Store is trusted by more than 100 schools nationwide and over 20,000 athletes, including Cooper Flagg and Paige Bueckers, to provide high quality NIL apparel with top payouts for athletes on every sale.

ABOUT CAMPUS INK AND THE NIL STORE

Backed by Mark Cuban, Campus Ink expanded into the Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) space in 2021 and launched the NIL Store, which serves as a merchandising solution for student-athletes and schools across the country. The NIL Store operates with the firm belief that every student-athlete has an opportunity to capitalize on their NIL and should earn industry-leading payouts. Campus Ink was founded in 1947 on the campus of the University of Illinois and was reimagined in 2015 with an office in downtown Chicago and a production facility in Urbana, Ill., where the company handles all of its own production and fulfillment.
