Our initial Campus Edition Basketball Jersey Collection includes:
UConn
The jersey celebrates UConn’s place as the “Basketball Capital of the World,” featuring 16 stars for every NCAA National Championship (11 women’s, 5 men’s) and Gampel Pavilion’s iconic roof pattern on the ribbing.
Dayton
The jersey celebrates the iconic blue of the early 1990’s uniforms - a nod to the top of the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at the center of campus which is painted in blue. The red streaks are emblematic of Dayton’s Flyers, streaking through the sky.
Illinois
The jersey celebrates a pair of iconic mainstays on the beautiful Illinois campus - Alma Mater and the Illini Union.
Iowa State
The jersey celebrates the magic of Iowa State’s iconic arena, Hilton Coliseum, which opened in 1971. “Hilton Magic” was coined by Brock Turnbull of the Des Moines Register in 1989, recognizing the arena’s ability to produce upset victories
LSU
The jersey captures the celebration of Mardi Gras, featuring the iconic colors that make the annual festival so special.
Maryland
The jersey celebrates the University of Maryland’s Terrapin mascot, an iconic symbol on campus dating to 1932. The Diamondback Terrapin is the official Maryland State Reptile.
Michigan State
The jersey celebrates Michigan State’s Sparty mascot, and the beautiful Beaumont Tower which has served as an icon of the campus since 1928.
Nebraska
The jersey celebrates Nebraska’s long and storied history of corn production, dating back centuries. Nebraska was first referred to as the “Cornhuskers” in 1899 by Cy Sherman of the Nebraska State Journal.
Northwestern
The jersey celebrates Northwestern’s place in Chicago lore, while recognizing the Gothic beauty of the iconic Charles Deering Memorial Library. Purple was first introduced as Northwestern’s school color in 1879.
Purdue
The jersey celebrates Purdue’s place as a world-renowned leader in engineering research and teaching, featuring railroad tracks on the ribbing and the subtle hints of a train blueprint.
San Diego State
The jersey celebrates San Diego State’s iconic Hepner Hall, in addition to its long history as Aztecs. The Aztec moniker was adopted in 1925, while Hepner Hall was built five years later.
UCLA
The jersey celebrates UCLA’s prominent stature in Los Angeles and the iconic palm trees that are synonymous with the city.
Utah
The jersey celebrates Utah’s iconic Block U on Mount Van Cott, which blinks following Utah victories. The Block U was originally built with limestone in 1907, and added lights in 1967.
ABOUT CAMPUS INK AND THE NIL STORE
Backed by Mark Cuban, Campus Ink expanded into the Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) space in 2021 and launched the NIL Store, which serves as a merchandising solution for student-athletes and schools across the country. The NIL Store operates with the firm belief that every student-athlete has an opportunity to capitalize on their NIL and should earn industry-leading payouts. Campus Ink was founded in 1947 on the campus of the University of Illinois and was reimagined in 2015 with an office in downtown Chicago and a production facility in Urbana, Ill., where the company handles all of its own production and fulfillment.
