NIL Store Surpasses 10,000 Signed Athletes

CHICAGO - The NIL Store powered by Campus Ink crossed a major milestone, signing its 10,000th athlete to its officially licensed NIL apparel platform.

In fact, the NIL Store rocketed past the milestone with the recent launches of 12 new stores in the month of March, including Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Gonzaga, Houston, Ole Miss and Virginia. Today, more than 10,400 athletes are signed to the platform.

The NIL Store Started at Illinois

Since debuting with the Illinois NIL Store in the fall of 2021 with its first signed athlete, Brandin Podziemski (now of the Golden State Warriors), the NIL Store network has ballooned to 60 schools nationwide.

Today, the NIL Store is home to some of the most recognizable names in collegiate athletics, including Zach Edey, Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers.

NIL Store's NCAA Tournament Prowess

The NIL Store entered this year’s men’s and women’s NCAA Basketball Tournaments with 53 programs in action, and head into the national semifinals with four teams remaining: UConn Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Purdue Men’s Basketball and Iowa Women’s Basketball.

As college basketball season comes to a close, the NIL Store will continue to rapidly onboard new schools while supporting its spring athletes across baseball, softball, lacrosse and more.

NIL Store Transitions Into Spring

With spring sports already underway, the NIL Store has simultaneously begun its transition into supporting its spring athletes while continuing to onboard more schools to the platform.

ABOUT CAMPUS INK AND THE NIL STORE

Backed by Mark Cuban, Campus Ink expanded into the Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) space in 2021 and launched the NIL Store, which serves as a merchandising solution for student-athletes and schools across the country. The NIL Store operates with the firm belief that every student-athlete has an opportunity to capitalize on their NIL and should earn industry-leading payouts. Campus Ink was founded in 1947 on the campus of the University of Illinois and was reimagined in 2015 with an office in downtown Chicago and a production facility in Urbana, Ill., where the company handles all of its own production and fulfillment.
