Kofi Cockburn Building the Brand with Campus Ink

URBANA, Ill. — Campus Ink is excited to announce its partnership with Big Ten Player of the Year, Illinois Center, Kofi Cockburn. Beginning July 1st, the NCAA adopted the name, image, and likeness (NIL) policy which grants players the opportunity to use their identity for promotional purposes.

Cockburn visited the Campus Ink Lab October 13, for Andre Curbelo’s first ever live merch store. He was introduced to our team, Steven Farag, Joey Hartz, and others. Cockburn signed with Campus Ink to build his brand on November 6, 2021. His first launch will be November 8, 2021.

Campus Ink Co-Owner, Steven Farag expressed his excitement and gratitude to begin building the brand for Cockburn. “Excited for the Campus Ink team to continue their journey in the NIL world. Thank you to Parker Cain and the team at Excel Sports Management for entrusting us to build the brand for Kofi Cockburn.”

Over the next few weeks, Joey Hartz (Director of NIL Management at Campus Ink) will be releasing a virtual player locker room dedicated to the Illini that features replica jerseys, player branded Illini Merchandise, as well as unique limited releases for each player.

Since 1947, Campus Ink has been a part of the Champaign-Urbana community. As a licensed printer for the University of Illinois, Campus Ink collaborates directly with academic personnel and athletic departments on creative designs and brand management.
