In coordination with John Knudson and the Big Ten Conference, the NIL Store powered by Campus Ink will be providing NIL merchandise in Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship Saturday.
The University of Iowa will have NIL merch all around Indianapolis this weekend, via the Iowa NIL Store, including team products and individual custom pieces.
The Campus Ink team collaborated on a quick timeline to roll up its sleeves and act quickly.
While Iowa could not facilitate interaction with athletes, they were super supportive in our efforts to provide this once in a lifetime opportunity available to their athletes. All in the spirit of NIL!
Adam Cook, Tate Gillespie and Eric Hrubes were on the phones all last weekend making sure all the right players were signed. (Yes, they love their defense in Iowa!) Jenna Koss and Lindsay Quick coordinated the logistics with venues. It takes a village!
While there is not a defined revenue sharing program for post season play just yet, this is just one organic way athletes can benefit from their teams advancing. We're excited to keep iterating on this model and see how it’ll continue to develop.
