Campus Ink Receives an Investment from Mark Cuban
March 17, 2022

We have exciting news coming out of Campus Ink!

We were founded in 1947 and have always prided ourselves on thinking beyond the t-shirt by teaching design and sales, elevating collegiate brands, and developing people.

As Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) legislation for college athletes changed in July of 2021, Campus Ink found traction in building a platform for University of Illinois Men's’ Basketball players to earn money through jersey and custom apparel sales.

We are proud to share with you the completion of an investment from Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

At Campus Ink it’s the people who come first, not the t-shirt. This opportunity provides us an adventure in which we continue to put people first.

The doors have been flung wide open for college athletes to promote and profit from their NIL. We are passionate about empowering athletes to take control of their brand and profit through custom merchandise. So far, we’ve been able to make athletes at University of Illinois more than $70,000 since opening our ‘Locker Room’ in September.

We’re immensely proud we have been able to prioritize the student-athlete in the way they were intended and are even more excited about our plans to share this model with athletes and universities around the country.

“While the best names in college sports will get taken care of by endorsements and high profile contracts, there are thousands of other student-athletes that need help. Campus Ink’s solution is going to change that”, stated Cuban.

We are excited and humbled to have Mark be a part of our vision. He shares our dedication, drive, and passion for putting our students and athletes first.
